The Sony NEX-5N is the latest jump in mirrorless camera technology that offers superb HD video quality that is on par with DSLRs.

I currently have two Lomo anamorphic lenses that have 2x squeeze for cinemascope widescreen.
Anamorphic lenses are used in most Hollywood productions and produce unique anamorphic flares.
The ratio on a 16:9 image would equal 3:55 aspect ratio.
These were designed and manufactured in the Soviet Union and are not produced anymore. Modern anamorphic lenses such as Hawks are based on Lomo designs, and cost tens of thousands of dollars.
These lenses are only useable on GH2 (Micro Four Thirds) and NEX-5N (E-mount)
